PIPING MTO

~MTO stands for material take-off.

~MTO of the piping item is a detailed listed piping component for the given project.

1-"piping material take off"----

I need fabrication, purchase, and or some construction for the action of counting the pieces and part

2-"bill of material"-not used for purchasing

listing of only the material shown on individual specific drawings such as piping isometric

the piping and components will have already been purchased and readily available for fabrication

3-"bill of quantity"-it is tendering document

totaling all the quantity from all the BOM from the whole project

  1. preliminary

  2. secondary

  3. final stage

    1. preliminary stage: 30% 50% 70% 90% final

    ~ is generated manually at beginning of project

    ~Generated the mto based on p and id and project specification

    ~ never used for purchase reason

B. Order to magnitude RFQ Request for a quote for piping Material

ALL PICKABLE ITEM LISTED ABOVE THE FIGURE

ALL NON PICABLE ITEMS ABOVE THE FIGURE

TO update the piping quantity for the issue of an actual purchase order for piping material

to update the project estimate procurement of piping material

*stage 3 FINAL

identify any late addition to the project and approve by client

~some instrument items not consider MTO list like control valve, psv , tagged instrument part

~not listed breakup flange in MTO
