Mr. Chansak Chuenchom, SEVP, Board of Directors of Global Multimodal Logistics Co., Ltd. (GML), Mr. Phumiwat Udomsap, Deputy Governor of Sa Kaeo Province, Mr. John Guiry, Chief Executive Officer, Royal Railway Public Company Limited, along with executives from the State Railway of Thailand and the Department of Rail Transport joined the launch of the first Thai-Cambodian freight train to transport plastic pellets and lubricants of PTT Group via the route Map Ta Phut - Khlong Luek - Poipet - Phnom Penh at Ban Khlong Luek border station, Aranyaprathet Sub-district, Sa Kaeo Province on the 26th of July.

This collaboration between the public and private sectors of Thailand and Cambodia, is jointly pushing forward the transportation of goods in the ASEAN region using multimodal transport with a railway core system, expanding transportation options in efficient logistics systems for traders between Thailand and Cambodia. PTT Group led by GML made an important role in infrastructure developing, and enhance Thai trade standards to connect to international standards.
