Prehistoric Planet is one of the most accurate paleodocumentaries to date. However, this does not make it free from errors, nor does it mean that everything in it is completely proven, though some of these speculations are not necessarily wrong, some are even logical, just lacking in proof.

The concept art and creature design was created by Jellyfish Pictures, while computer-generated imagery was developed by The Moving Picture Company and intended to be photorealistic, as with their previous productions The Jungle Book (2016) and The Lion King (2019).

Parents Need to Know The show features a lot of scenes of prehistoric animals preying on others. While these images aren't overly bloody, it's clear that the animals are eating each other, and the meat gets a little icky. Sensitive kids might get a little upset.
