The Marshall Tucker Band and the Charlie Daniels Band are launching a joint headlining tour this spring.

Beloved southern rock icons, The Charlie Daniels Band and The Marshall Tucker Band are teaming to make it a year to remember for their fans coast-to-coast.

The men will co-headline their Fire on the Mountain Tour, a national roadshow that will launch April 23 in Enid, Okla.

Other tour stops include Washington D.C.; Evansville, IN; Waterbury, CT; Morristown, NJ; Westbury, NY; Jackson, TN; Cherokee, NC; Cincinnati, OH; Webster, MA; Deadwood, SD; Clearwater, FL, and more.

"The idea of us touring again with the CDB leads to all kinds of possibilities," said Marshal Tucker Band lead singer Doug Gray in a statement. "It's not just about the music, but also the friendships and the reunion with the fans who've been with us for many years. We'll be playing all of our hit songs as well as material from an upcoming re-released vinyl album."

The Charlie Daniels Band performs during the Volunteer Jam XX: A Tribute to Charlie at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on March 8, 2018.

The tour title is a nod to The Marshall Tucker Band's 1978 hit song, "Fire on the Mountain," as well as The Charlie Daniels Band's 1974 platinum-selling album of the same name.

"We have played more shows with the MTB through the years than any other band and have worked together for over forty years," Daniels said. "We have so much history and so many memories and the music is so compatible that when we get together, the audience, CDB and MTB have a big ole southern-style good time."

Daniels’ signature hit is “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” while Marshall Tucker Band is known for “Heard it in a Love Song” and “Can’t You See.”

Fellow southern rock group the Scooter Brown Band will join the tour on select dates.
