Eight years after the song first dropped, Nick Jonas still has the love bug. But now the cure is...Instagram?
In a video titled "Dear Nick," the singer-songwriter and his guitar answer fans's questions and provide advice, from what to do about a loud gym-goer to telling your buddy his music dreams just aren't going to pan out. Nick also dealt with a fan's inquiry about Instagram and dating. "Dear Nick, I'm about to celebrate my one-year anniversary with the most perfect woman, but she hasn't posted any photos of me on Instagram," the fan, named Mr. Do It For The Gram, explained. "How do I get her to claim me on social media?"
In response, Nick took it back to The Jonas Brothers's 2009 classic "Lovebug," updating the lyrics for the social media age: "Called you for the first time yesterday / But you didn't post a picture on social media / So now I'm gonna have to say OK/ 'Cause one year's just so nice and you're so sweet / So would you post a picture of us on the coastline / Maybe we could go a long time if you post the 'gram / Just one photo of you and I all cuddled up looking like a couple pups / Yeah, do it for the 'gram."
(While the tune didn't explicitly spell out any advice, it was pretty quick thinking if Nick just improvised those lyrics.)
If a throwback isn't enough though, don't worry: There is new Nick Jonas music on its way. "There will be a lot of new music, including some new Christmas music even, coming towards the end of this year," he recently told MTV.
