‘Dream Weaver’ Singer Gary Wright Dies at 80

Gary Wright, best known for his 1976 hit song “Dream Weaver,” has died at 80.

Wright’s cause of death was due to complications from Parkinson’s and dementia.

Wright’s other solo hit was “Love is Alive,” which also came out in 1976. Before his solo career, Wright fronted the band Spooky Tooth.
