Our Vendor worked as a production assistant on the South Bank Show for 8 years, in 1989 she looked after George Michaels Golden Retriever for the day while he was interviewed by Melvyn Bragg and performed some songs including Father Figure. She had never worked with that day him but he was very grateful for her looking after the dog he signed the lyric sheet. George was only one of many very famous people she met who included Clint Eastwood, Dirk Bogard and many more she reeled off including Bob Geldoff who she didn't take to at all
