Botanical Description

A medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with pendulous, stout, basally narrow, nodally swollen canes that are yellow with purple stripes and carrying 8 to 12, deciduous, linear to ovate-lanceolate, leathery, bi-dentate apically leaves that blooms in the spring on a short, purplish inflorescence that arise from the nodes near the apex of the cane carrying 1 to 3, fragrant flowers.
