Common Name Tschang's Liparis - In China Zhe Bao Yang Er Suan

Found in southwestern Sichuan and Yunnan provinces of China, Thailand Laos and Vietnam in forests at elevations of 1100 to 1700 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing terrestrial with ovoid pseudobulbs enveloped by white, membraneous sheaths and carrying 2, spreading horizontally, ovate elliptic to ovate, membraneous to herbaceous, entire margins, acuminate apically, contracted below into the sheathlike, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the later summer on a conspicuously exceeding the leaves in length, 4.4 to 11.6" [11 to 29 cm] long, 10 to 20 flowered inflorescence with reflexed, lanceolate floral bracts .
