Description and Ethnobotany

Growth Form An epiphyte, it has an erect growth form.
Foliage The leaves are imbricating and arranged alternately along the stem. The leaves measure between 20 to 40 cm long and have an obtuse and unequally bilobed apex. 
Flowers The flowers are borne on densely flowered, arching inflorescences. The flowers are fragrant and come in varying colours ranging from white to purple or white with purple spots. 
Habitat It can be found growing on trees up to 1000 m in altitude.
