Description and Ethnobotany

Growth Form A terrestrial orchid. It can grow approximately 30 to 61cm in height. 
Foliage The leaves are linear-lanceolate in shape, 12.7 to 20.3cm long, 3 to 5 conspicuous nerves running along the leaf and an acuminate tip and are arranged alternately along the stem. 
Flowers The flowers are arranged in spikes. The bases of the spikes are covered with linear bracts. The flowers are sepals and petals are white in colour, the flower bracts are lanceolate-acuminate in shape.
