Chairmen Of The Board’s General Norman Johnson dies

Frontman passes away aged 67

General Norman Johnson, who was the lead singer of soul band Chairmen Of The Board, has died aged 67.

The frontman died on Wednesday (October 13) at home in Atlanta, reports the LAtimes.com.

His cause of death has not yet been announced.

Chairmen Of The Board were active between 1969 and 1976 and are best known for their 1970 hit ‘Give Me Just A Little More Time’, a video of which you can watch below.

Johnson, who wrote most of the band’s material, is survived by his wife Julia, two sons and a daughter.
