Taylor Swift's unstoppable journey has hit another milestone, leaving an indelible mark on the music scene. In a recent tweet from Spotify's official X account, the global pop sensation cemented her place as a trailblazer by becoming the first female artist in Spotify history to captivate 100 million monthly listeners.

Swift's ascendancy leaves her just behind The Weeknd, who previously made history in February as the inaugural artist to achieve the 100 million monthly listeners benchmark on Spotify. Taylor Swift's dominance continues as she becomes the first female artist to cross the threshold of 100 million monthly Spotify listeners.

This exciting news was unveiled through Spotify's social channels, with the platform proudly proclaiming: "Queen behavior. On August 29th, Taylor Swift became the first female artist in Spotify history to reach 100 million monthly listeners."

At present, The Weeknd holds the coveted top position with over 110 million monthly listeners on the app. He surged past the 100 million mark, etching his name in Spotify's record books back in February. The list continues with Bad Bunny at No. 3, amassing 80 million listeners, followed closely by Ed Sheeran with 77 million.

Swift is in the middle of her successful The Eras Tour

Swift's triumphant moment follows the release of her third re-recorded album, "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)," in July. This album soared to No. 1, conquering the Billboard 200 with a staggering 716,000 album-equivalent units. Remarkably, "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" earned Swift the distinction of being the first woman to secure four albums simultaneously in Billboard's top 10 album chart, making her only the third artist in history to accomplish such a feat.

During the concluding stretch of her U.S. Eras Tour at Los Angeles' SoFi Stadium, Swift tantalizingly revealed that her next project, "1989 (Taylor's Version)," is set to debut in the coming fall. This announcement didn't come as a complete surprise to fans, given Swift's penchant for leaving behind breadcrumbs. She playfully hinted at the album's release date of October 27, unveiling "1989's" fresh album art to a captivated audience.

As Swift's Eras Tour continues its global journey until the fall of 2024, the megastar thrilled fans by announcing the addition of 15 more North American dates, ensuring that her reign remains unchallenged.
