An underwhelming live performance from rap-rock one hit-wonders Crazy Town has reportedly served as the catalyst for a backstage brawl between band members.

As per the TMZ reports the fight is said to have taken place on Sunday evening, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina when vocalist Shifty Shellshock (Seth Binzer) failed to show up, leaving co-vocalist Bobby Reeves to try and power through the set alone. Shellshocks' failure to turn up in time for the set, resulted in an underwhelming performance from the band, with Reeves struggling to carry the vocal duties alone. Reeves even apologised for the lacklustre performance, which included him forgetting the words to their only notable hit, Butterfly, openly expressing his anger with Shellshock into the mic "I'm so mad at fucking Shifty right now, I'm trying hard."

That anger then boiled over as the two frontmen escalated into a brawl, the moment the band got off stage, with TMZ obtaining video of the altercation, meanwhile another video has been uploaded to YouTube which shows the whole brawl including some VERY graphic threats and some pretty brutal punches. Reeves took to social media in the aftermath of the fight, explaining that he and Shellshock are all good now, despite him sporting quite a nasty black eye, stating  “Me and Shifty got into a little scuffle, but it’s all good. We’re brothers."

The reason for Shellshock's failure to turn up for the show is believed to be a combination of factors including frustration at a similarly underwhelming show the night before and a dispute over financial splits for the Myrtle Beach date. 

Crazy Town rose to prominence in 1999 thanks to the success of US number one hit Butterfly which powered the album it was lifted off The Gift Of  Game into the charts. Their current tour of the USA will continue despite the bust-up.
