Daddy's Little Girl
The song "Daddy's Little Girl" has been a favorite of fathers and daughters -- and mothers, too -- for more than fifty years. In this first ever picture-book version, an adoring rabbit daddy and his little bunny bring the moving lyrics to life as they share special moments that demonstrate the special bond reserved for daddies and their little girls. The full lyrics and music are included for the whole family to enjoy together. "Daddy's Little Girl" was written by Bobby Burke and Horace Gerlach in 1949. It was an instant hit, and has gone on to become a staple of wedding reception playlists for the dance shared by a bride and her father. This and a companion song, "Daddy's Little Boy," written by Billy Collins in 1950, have been recorded by many artists, notably by the Mills Brothers, and are considered American standards.

Daddy's Little Girl is charming, sweet and the epitome of my son and our only granddaughter. Never have I seen a man so utterly enamored with his little girl.

This book adds illustrations to the loved song “Daddy’s Little Girl” that was composed in 1949. The words express a father’s feelings for his baby girl. The baby girl is his shining star and his world.
The illustrations for this book are wonderfully painted. The detail in the bunny’s faces will instantly warm the hearts of the readers. The illustrations are primarily done in pastel colors, as is fitting for a book about a young girl.
Ideally, this book would be read to a young girl by her father. This book puts into words everything that a father feels for his young daughter. Young girls will enjoy the bonding time with their fathers while reading this book.

A bit too saccharine for me. Reminds me a bit of Love You Forever, but this theme specifically targets the special bond between a dad and his daughter. It included sheet music at the back of the book.
