Kris Aquino channels Taylor Swift, calls fiancé Mel Sarmiento 'The Better Man'
Kris Aquino is a self-confessed Swiftie!
The newly-engaged "Queen of All Media" just shared her favorite lines from Taylor Swift's "The Better Man" on Instagram, together with a sweet message for her fiancé, Mel Sarmiento.
"Nobody has stood up and fought for me the way you have consistently been doing. You have never blamed me for my past, instead you have just loved me for me," she said.
Kris also told her followers about a sweet moment between Mel and her son Bimby, who has given his mom's marriage his approval.
"Every time I remember last week when we mistakenly thought ready for occupancy na Bimb's unit, (we are leasing 2, unfortunately 1 floor apart) before we left he hugged you tight and said 'I love you Tito Mel, please take special care of mama because I love her so much,'" Kris said.
"I really thank God because my beloved bunso both loves and trusts you," she added.
In the same post, Kris thanked her late brother, former president Benigno Aquino III, for "reconnecting" her with "The Better Man."
"When I woke up beside him this morning, I really thanked God and thanked my kuya up in heaven for reconnecting me with #thebetterman," she said.
Kris's "Better Man" post came shortly after she slammed senatorial aspirant and former mayor Herbert Bautista for supposedly using their past relationship to gain the public's attention.
The TV host's relationships have widely been publicized over the years, including her separation with basketball player James Yap.
