Description:

Beautiful cactaceae made up of long columnar stems, which in nature reach even 15 m high! Of a nice pale green colour, tending to bluish, it has longitudinal ribs perfectly symmetrical and well grooved, along which are evenly distributed roundish and white areoles. The radial spines are arranged in radial patterns and the central spines are pointed outwards and slightly longer, all of an intense yellow that, reaching maturity, tends to become brown. It is very rare to find flowering Isolatocereus, as their blooming occurs only when the plant reaches its maximum size, however in nature it is possible to admire its beautiful flowers, rather large of a beautiful white, that match perfectly with the delicate stems.

Plant care:

It prefers full sun and rather aired conditions.

It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures and especially never under 10 º C, for this reason it is recommended to place it in sheltered and airy places during the winter.

Water moderately, only when the soil is completely dry. It’s enough once a week in the spring and summer, a reduction on a bimonthly basis in the fall and completely suspended in the winter.

It is optimal a well draining and mineral-rich substrate, for example a suitable soil for cactus, to which you can add pumice.

They do not need frequent fertilizations, it will be sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with the water of the waterings once a year.
