A definite sampler for new fans
I dind't expect to find hidden gems or underplayed songs on this album. After all, it is a greatest hits album. But as a new fan of the prolific songwriter, I was able to get a glimpse of why he was on a road to a long successful career. It left me with a desire to explore his catalog and find what music lovers look for. A hidden gem that resonates with ones personal road to life, love, and loss. He may be 30 odd years my senior, but i have no doubt there is such a piece of music out there.I dind't expect to find hidden gems or underplayed songs on this album. i like all the songs been looking for this for a while i grow up listen to these sons and others like them they have a way of staying with you through the years even my children like to listen to them they let their friends listen their parents listen then remember the sons then ask where did i find them

Super writings
I listened to this great aritst in the mid seventys and he was great then and is still a treat to hear. Sad that he did not go on and was taken down in Arkansas during a storm that caused the plane to crash. Would never have happend today. I still listen to Jim on a regular basis and his words and experience hits close to home.
