Classic Music Always in Style
Though I do enjoy a listening to a variety of music, I have never considered myself a true Rock and Roll fan. However, I appreciate musical talent of all types. This album is a collection of gospel songs written by Bob Dylan and performed by many different singers and groups, including one song performed by Dylan. I was touched by the messages in these songs and enjoy the timeless sounds of Dylan's music. It is a very uplifting album and I will enjoy it for years to come.Though I do enjoy a listening to a variety of music, I have never considered myself a true Rock and Roll fan. However, I appreciate musical talent of all types. This album is a collection of gospel songs written by Bob Dylan and performed by many different singers and groups, including one song performed by Dylan. I was touched by the messages in these songs and enjoy the timeless sounds of Dylan's music. It is a very uplifting album and I will enjoy it for years to come.

best gospel songs i know
I guess you can call me a bob cat, because I enjoy all he has contributed, as far as music, songs, lyrics, goes. he has a great gift and he has been sharing it for years. this cd is cool because, he has again given freely by allowing others to be part of his creation. I feel the artists that did their "rendition" of the songs they did, were really enjoying themselves. thanks again Bob

Disappointed
I did not realize that this was not actually Bob Dylan when I bought it. There is only one or two songs that I liked that were remixed. I am no expert on Black Gospel, but I found the recording to be in that traditional framework. With Bob Dylan’s style, I can understand why. I enjoy all kinds of music, but I’m not often inclined to listen to the Black Gospel traditional music. I like blues such as Glenn Kaiser and others. Stomp by Kirk Franklin was a household favorite of my family. But as far as Bob Dylan’s music is concerned, nobody does it quite like him.
