The Year of 1948-1959
This CD collection is Original from the Studio and you can hear it like you were there. When CD's first came out 20 years ago it's like how can a new technology make a difference from a 8 track and a 16 track from the 50's they did it with precision and clarity. With all of that said there are some music titles that are not from the studios with that said its still a classic to me.

The packing was awesome and the item is brand new, factory sealed. I haven't had a chance to open up and play any CD'S. Like the Andrews Sisters, Bing Crosby, Glenn Miller, Mills Brothers, Ink Spots and the Tommy Dorsey Band can transport us mentally back to the second world war and the lifestyle of the forties, these doowopers carry us back into and kinder, gentler, more innocent day that we still long for, the fabulous fifties. The days of 15 cent movies, 50 cent haircuts, nickle pack of chuckles, 20 cent per gallon gasoline and dollar record hops. Great Mix Of The Greatest Songs of the 50s, Downside...
I thought I'd get a great collection to play during quite times and reminisce. But, this set has a downside. The music has a "tin" stiff sound. I'm not sure how it became this way, if the reproduction studio copied it from the LPs or what, but I had to turn it off. Maybe with headphones they'll sound better but as is, played on my regular CD player they sound like crap. Sorry to disappoint.
