This is one of the best debut albums of all time! An indication of this is that 5 of the 10 songs on this debut album ended up being on Jody Watley's greatest hits cd years later. Even the so called "B" tracks on this disc hold up today. The best "B" on this disc is without question LOVE INJECTION ( track # 5 ). It has a catchy funky beat and quite provocative lyrics for 1987 when this album was originally released. I like the fact that this is indeed a nasty song but with no swear words at all ( but you know exactly what Jody Watley is singing about! ). Overall, this is a very satisfying cd.
