- As others have mentioned the sound quality and mastering here is really superb, top notch stuff. However, in terms of quality control it is very lacking. If your buying this from someone I'd heavily ask for them to open up a sealed copy to make sure you're getting a functioning playable copy because it seems like every copy of this album is flawed in one way or another.
- Edited 6 months agoGet my copy, and it’s cutted out of center at the 3rd side and it sounds like a inconstant speed. Heard that it’s not a rare one - other people get that mistake too and at the 3rd side too. Otherwise it sounds really great
- Just bought this today and after a cleaning it sounds fantastic. Super dynamic and great sounding loud.
- I purchased this a few days ago and haven't had time to listen on my better system at home. I am listening as we speak on an older Technics SL-B3 with an ortofon Red Stylus and a pair of Edifer Speakers I have set up at my office, and I am blown away by the mastering of this press. Sounds terrific
- Got a second copy and there’s small scratches and marks on all 4 sides in varying degrees. None of them are deep but some have more than others. I play tested the first disc and the mastering sounds killer but the QC is atrocious. Buyer beware, make sure you receive a mint copy and not a VG+ one.
- As highly anticipated as this release was, is anyone else a little miffed/disappointed that this didn't include at least a lyric sheet?!...and were in crummy paper sleeves and not poly-lined or at least a card picture sleeve?! My original cassette from '91 even had the lyrics. That being said, it does sound amazing, just a little annoying.
- Sounds terrific on my system - Music Hall mmf 2.3 playing through Edifier R1850DB speakers and a Jamo Studio Series S 808 Subwoofer. I’d pick this one up if you are a fan
- Fantastic pressing. Blown away by the quality. I was desperate for a copy so I ordered a picture vinyl reissue that came out on Black Friday and of course that sounds terrible but this two record remaster is amazing buy it now!
