As a reminder, Sam filed for divorce on Wednesday night—just hours after TMZ broke the news that he and Britney were separating after an argument involving cheating allegations. Britney's remained silent on the split (other than revealing she's buying a horse), but a source told People that she's “in great spirits despite everything going on."
“Obviously it's never an easy thing to go through, but she’s remaining positive and focusing on the future," the insider said, noting that Britney “is focused on her book release, has an upcoming writers’ camp and is getting songs from some big artists. Ideally she would love to do a new record soon, and maybe a powerful song for the book’s release.”
Meanwhile, Sam's rep shut down reports that he's threatening to exploit Britney in order to change the terms of their prenup. "There are many claims that Sam is challenging the prenup and threatening to exploit his ex-wife with videos," the rep told E! News. "However, all these claims are false, as no negative intention has ever been directed towards her and never will be."
