Successful rapper, businessman and music mogul Jay Z is well know for his Hiphop catalogue which spans over 25 years producing over 150 hit singles.
The iconic rapper is often in controversy for his racy lyrics and provocative imagery but his songs always personify his take on the urban experience.
In an exclusive interview with Wall Street Journal, Hov regrets making his 1999 mega hit 'Big Pimpin' featuring Bun B from UGK and Pimp C. The song scored commercial success ending on four different Billboard charts.
While speaking about it, Jay is infamously known for not writing down his lyrics and just spitting them in the booth. He admits this record is not as profound.
"Thats the exception. It was like.. I can't believe i said that. And kept saying it. What type of animal would say that sort of thing. Reading it is really harsh." he said.
