The first time I've heard James Blunt, I was amazed how well he sings live. I'm normally into heavier styles of music but I love him. When I heard he had been in HM's Armed Forces and had been a Major, I thought it was a joke but apparently, it's not and he really did serve in the Gulf. I was at the Nov. 16, 2006 concert at The House of Blues located in Los Angeles. James was great! He played some new songs and the other songs that have made him such a success! I had a wonderful time! He actually gave my daughter-in-law a quick kiss on her cheek and I was so close to him! We were on the perfect side of the stage and a great front row view.
