In very fine condition, a thin-walled example that incurred several stress cracks and breaks throughout was professionally restored by Oscar Zelenya, Germantown, Maryland. Superb patina with ample mineral deposits etc. This is a finely and elaborately painted example of the Copador polychrome type where a procession scene is taking place with attendant lords shaking rattles and costumed dancers wearing Jaguar-themed outfits in poses suggesting movement. An upper rim and lower basal bands are inscribed with bold, classic Copador-style glyphs. This is a superb and important example of the type.
