All music from this show is amazing. My only disappointment is that one of the CD's came with the inside crushed and little pieces of plastic all over the disc. The disc was flopping around inside the case and rubbing up against all of the broken plastic could have damaged the CD.

While I expected this cd to be good I was amazed at just how good it turned out to be. I watch the series every week and had heard excerpts played during the episodes but hearing the entire song is even better. Some of the lyrics of the songs have been changed but they are still great and I was not aware that Katy Sagal sang, her voice is awsome and she does an excellent job on Son of a Preacher Man. My favorite song on this cd is The House of The Rising Son, the words have been changed but it is still a solid favorite of mine. My children grew up hearing the original versions of these songs, they liked the versions on this cd so much they each decided to buy the cd. If u are undecided on this cd u will only have to listen to a couple of songs from the cd and you will be placing an order.

If you're a fan of Sons of Anarchy, you need to get this now! Excellent soundtrack to the super hit TV series Sons of Anarchy! It's all here including the opening theme song in its full version as well as the haunting version of "John the Revelator" first played on the show during Donna's funeral. As the other reviewer have said, even if you're not a fan or familiar with the TV series, this soundtrack is still a top notch compilation of excellent covers of classic songs and awesome originals. Katey Segal is an awesome singer as well as a phenomenal actress! Love this CD! As season 4 is coming to an end, SOA leaves us with great music to listen to while awaiting for an exciting season 5!! SOA fans enjoy! Live to ride!

My Husband and I have just recently started watching the SOA series and really love the music during the episodes.I found this and had to surprise him with the CD.We both give it 5 stars.There are some songs that give you chills because you can remember what was occurring during that tune.And some give you chills just because the singer or group has made it so haunting.Only disappointment is that they can't fit all the songs from the series on the CD.Listened to Curtis Stiegers in his earlier years and have to say I love this gritty sound from him.And Katey Sagal singing is an added surprising bonus.Wish Katey's version of Ruby Tuesday was on the CD, any CD for that matter.

A soundtrack album for 'Sons oF Anarchy' was always going to be excellent with such a wide and varied selection of music to choose from. The problem was always going to be 'What to put in and what to leave out'. I can't really quibble with the choices on this disc, the theme song, the Katey Sagal selections, Paul Brady's mad version of 'Gimme Shelter' are all excellent but with so much left out I would have preferred a double disc with some of the stuff left out such as 'The Black Keys' stuff from series one, 'The Dropkick Murphys' version of 'Johnny I Hardly Knew ye' and especially the magnificently poetic season 4 opening scene where the sons get out of prison soundtracked by 'Joshua James' song 'Coal War'

My husband and I are huge fans of Son's of Anarchy and love the music on the show. We were happy to see this CD released and eager to listen to it. This CD is awesome. Every song is great.

The only song we missed was Patty Griffin's heartbreaking rendition of "Mary" which they played when Gemma was telling her family about her rape in Season Two. I became a Patty Griffin fan after hearing this song. It's a shame it wasn't included on this CD.

If you a fan of the show, this is a must-have. Fabulous songs and music!
