This is my favorite Ted Nugent album. It's straight forward, solid rock. I actually saw him in concert when the album came out. I was in the military at the time, and there were a lot of military personnel in the audience that night. When the band began playing "Bound And Gagged", a giant American flag was unfurled behind the band, and the crowd went wild. I always remember that night when I listen to this album.

While many Ted fans think he fell off the earth after 1981's Intensities In 10 Cities, that is not true. This album contains many songs that would have easily been at home on some of his earlier albums. the cuts Fightin' Words, Tailgunner, We're Gonna Rock, Habitual Offender and Don't Push me all contain the tough guy Ted formula that made him a star in the first place. Tailgunner is equal to Stranglehold and Smokescreen for it's power. Four songs mention guns, classic Nuge. The song Bound And Gagged is a patriotic song about the Iranian hostage crisis. This album boasts Derek St. Holmes at singer, and he sounds good. Teds guitar work is fast and crisp. This album gets a bad rap because it marks a point where Ted for whatever reason tried to change the direction of his career. Many of the albums after this were a joke, but this one is solid. In recent years Ted has released the excellent albums Spirit of Wild and 1979 Live At Hammersmith, but on the whole new Ted albums are becoming more rare than Bigfoot sightings, don't overlook this unfairly maligned album

I like that he got Derek St . Holmes to rejoin. The songs are okay and the addition of Carmine
Appice is terrific. I wish he had some better songs since it w was his debut on Atlantic
Records.

Rare HARD to find a CD in this release of Ted

I recall listening to this album in my youth. Songs that stand out were Ebony and Bound and Gagged. I decided to revisit this cd because of Derek St. Holmes on vocals...I was not disappointed. This cd like many other Nugent offerings has great guitar work and catchy hooks, but often basic to lame vocals. So, if you can get past the lyrics you are in for one rocking album. Ted switched record companies before recording this and he had something to prove. Nugent rocks from start to end, and the vocals are great, the guitar work is stellar, and rhythm section is tight. The two songs I remember the most are actually my least favorite. Highlights for me are as follows: Good and Ready (can't get more pumped up than this!), Habitual Offender (classic Nuge), and of course Tailgunner! If you're stuck on Cat Scratch Fever or Scream Dream, give this a listen and see of you don't like it...I know I do!

I had NEVER bought this 1982 Ted Nugent album, up until now. "Bound & Gagged" seemed to be the song that I most remembered. "Tailgunner" kinda reminds me of 1975's "Stranglehold". I also like the songs "Habitual Offender", "Good & Ready", "No, No, No", "Tailgunner" & "Bound & Gagged", which is my favorite song on this entire album. "Bound & Gagged" mentions the Iranian Hostage Crisis in it's lyrics. How well I can remember the Hostage Crisis from November 4, 1979 to January 20 1981, which ironically was Ronald Reagan's Presidential Inauguration Day. Ted Nugent, like Judas Priest seemed a lot more noisier musically, which started w/ Ted Nugent's 1980 album "Scream Dream". I only give this album 3 stars.

Ce gars est quand même un sacré guitariste.
J'ai eu la chance de le voir en concert à Nice dans les années 80 et ce mec nous avez "explosé".
