This CD is of the highest quality & if you like Rod & his music you wont go wrong in buying this CD. It has a lot of 'oldies' on it that brings back a lot of fond memories. The way he sings these songs alone with his style, he even sounds better that the original recording artist. Now, that is hard to beat!

I'm never going to fall in love with Rod (not tonight or any other night!) and was never a fan of his throughout my young years in the 1960's upwards, but when I heard his rendition of 'For the first time' on the radio, just had to buy this CD. I think only he could sign this lovely song in such an empathetic gravelly way. The other tracks on the disc are good, too, obviously some very familiar to me from the past but, altogether, a lovely CD. To hear 'For the first time' is like a poem set to music, the writers of the lyrics - Newton, Friedman and Rich - have made it so. Would use this company again for music - the CD came promptly and was perfect. Absolutely delighted with my purchase.
