Destiny's Child has done it again by starting a new trend with their bound to be number one hit "Bootylicious"! This song is off the hook, I mean I don't think this song is to inappropriate for the young and I know the older audience be feelin' this track too because of the Stevie Nicks sample from the "Edge Of Seventeen"! But regardless of the hot Stevie Nicks sample, Destiny's Child has shown they need not sample to make a hot hit by releasing these hot remixes. All of the remixes on this single are hot and club friendly but they just were not worthy enough for the remix video which is the Rockwilder Remix of Bootylicious that was featured on the CARMEN soundtrack. Even though these remixes are not the Rockwilder Remix featuring Missy Eliot, they are still worthy enough for my ears and the dance floor.
Track Listing:
1.) Bootylicious - Album Version (3:27) = This is the hot original version that can't be beat regardless of how good the remixes are.
2.) Bootylicious - Richard Vission's V-Quest (6:06) = This is one of the best remixes on her because they somewhat make Michelle's part the chorus and that's my favorite part of the song.
3.) Bootylicious - Richard Vission's D.J. Dub (5:27) = This is not really a remix because all it is, is a constant repeat of the word D.J. through out the whole song.
4.) Bootylicious - Big Boyz Remix (3:38) = This remix is more to the R&B side and is heavy on the base and also heavy on the dance floor.
5.) Bootylicious - Case Remix (4:45) = This remix is on the dance side and has some funky vocal edits. The girls from Destiny have never had such deep voices, but it all sound good.
Peeps can you handle this, I don't think you can handle this, Is you not "Bootylicious" enough for this single! Get This single and let Destiny's Child bring out the Bootylicious in you, you'll never know till you try!

My jam😏😏😏😏
Reviewed in the United States on July 15, 2002
Let's be honest, here. Destiny's Child's "Survivor" was a wildly uneven collection of TRL-ready Black pop. The best song on that CD was easily "Bootylicious." Sensual and catchy, it was my jam for the summer of 2001, with its smart Stevie Knicks sample and its memorable chorus. On this CD, the girls take it to another level, and get a bangin' house treatment courtesy of Richard Vission. This mix is louder, grittier, and funkier than the original, and a dub version is also available. Of course, there's a hip hop remix at the end, but it's blah and predictable. Those who know me understand that I have mixed feelings about Destiny's Child (or is it really Beyonce with two backup singers?), but make no mistake: "Bootylicious" is groovilicious.

If you're still holding back, it's okay to admit it. Everybody likes Destiny's Child. And, frankly, there ain't nothing wrong with that. They pair up fun, sing-along lyrics and choruses with stop-go synth beats that never fail to be fun.
"Bootylicious" is a great example. Starting with the Stevie Nicks sample (anybody who can create dancefloor R&B out of Stevie Nicks is okay by me!) and moving into an irresistible beat, it's a great pop song. Plus, as a bonus, the Richard "Humpty" Vission mix is really good. I was skeptical, having purchased his music before and doubting that the hard house sound would mesh with Destiny's Child, but it works. "Bootylicious" may not be quite as good as "Independent Woman Pt. 1", but it beats "Survivor" and is still a great song.

This song is truly different from others of Destiny's Child. At first it wuz like OH MY GOD this song is stupid. But then after I listened to it ova again it kinda just stuck to me. It has a kinda poppy beat to it and is definately a good song to dance to!!(Why do you think I titled it GET YOUR BOOTAY MOOVIN???) Well too sum this up it is a really great song. You should definately buy the single. Or even if you wanna get risky buy the whole cd. Now I hope this works and remember this is just an opinion so now it is up 2 u. If you wanna contact me i have a yahoo screen name for chatting which is blonde_volleyball_babe_423...Thanx and happy shakin

I could not wait for this single to be released just so that I could post a review of it! This, in my opinion, is the best tune by Destiny's Child yet. It is just plain... "bootylicious"! The lyrics are cool, and the beat is really something to dance to. The background Stevie Nicks guitar riff is what initially got me hooked on this song. It just goes so well with the rest of the song. The Richard Vission remix is a great extra track, like the album version isn't slammin' enough! These are great club or cruising trax. I highly recommend picking this one up...

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun anthem!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on August 7, 2015
As far as I am concerned, Beyonce Knowles is the most 'bootylicious' woman on the planet, so it seems only fitting that she should sing and strut her stuff on this fun and positive anthem for women everywhere. The message is clear - whatever your size and shape, dig yourself, celebrate, and be confident in who you are. Clever and inspired use of Stevie Nicks' 'Edge of Seventeen' guitar riff too. Overall, a truly tasty and funky slice of modern r &b!
