The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus has premiered the video for the recently released “Symphonic Version” of the band’s 2006 single “Face Down.”

The new clip is something of a sequel to the original song’s video, which has over 121 million views on YouTube. Actor Kendra Cover returns to once again portray the lead character, who is now living, as the “Face Down” lyrics say, the “new life she has found” after surviving domestic abuse.

“With this video we specifically chose to focus on the line ‘a new life she has found,’ which is also my family’s experience,” says RJA frontman Ronnie Winter, who notes he, himself, is “a child of a domestic violence household.” “We definitely did not get to show that in the first video.”

He adds, “It’s about healing and how it’s hard and messy, but it happens and it’s worth working towards.”
