With the release of Face The Music, one of the greatest post-Beatles bands began a very long string of hit singles. Fleetwood Mac and ABBA were probably their only real competition ... and I think ELO ended up having the most number of hits (20 major hits singles in the United States). "Turn To Stone" closed out 1977 and "Sweet Talkin' Woman" appeared in the late winter of 1978 on American radio stations, from the 1977 album, Out Of The Blue.
For me "Sweet Talkin' Woman" was like a ray of sunshine with its chamber musical introduction and fast and cheery tempo ... definitely one of my top favorite ELO hits. In the US, it reached #17 on Billboard and #18 on Cash Box, on April 22, 1978.
