Sia, who is known for hits like "Cheap Thrills," admits that singing in Punjabi was challenging and left her sweating. Singers Diljit Dosanjh and Sia joined forces as the two collaborated for a music single Hass Hass. The track, a fusion of Indian pop and international beats, was released last night, marking it the first collaboration between the two musicians. For the unversed, this also happens to be Sia's first Indian collaboration. Hass Hass combines Punjabi and English lyrics.
Furthermore, the CheapThrills singer has crooned Punjabi lyrics blending seamlessly with Diljit's vocals, delighting the Punjabi music enthusiasts worldwide.
For the first time while talking to us briefly about singing in Punjabi, Sia confesses that she was sweating after singing in Punjabi. "Hass Hass was made with so much love I left in a completely saturated dress! Speaking Punjabi is much harder than you think; I sweated through my entire dress, trying so hard to get it right! I had to ask them to stop taking photos! I was completely drenched by the time I nailed it!"
Diljit Dosanjh and Sia's new track ‘Hass Hass’
Mumbai, Oct 25 (IANS) Punjabi pop star Diljit Dosanjh will be collaborating with the Australian singer Sia for his new single 'Hass Haas'.

In the meantime, Diljit calls the collaboration with Sia "absolutely fantastic". He adds, "Sia lending her vocals in Punjabi is quite effortless. I'm sure the track will touch the hearts of all music lovers across the globe”.
The Born to Shine hitmaker has been collaborating with multiple international singers of later. He recently paired with Tory Lanez for Chauffeur, Diamond Platnumz for Jugni, and had Anne Marie featured on his fan-favorite track Peaches. Diljit was also the first Punjabi artist to grace the Coachella stage, in April 2023.
Coming back to Hass Hass, the song from Warner Music India's banner explores themes of happiness and resilience.
