DTM Engine Block Setup (947hp 1012Nm)

This is my own personal DTM engine set up. I tested all the parts to get the best performance myself. All parts are all stock in Street legal racing redline as of 7/28/17

Setup
Some parts like the oil pan, alternator, cranshaft bearing bridges, drivebelts and etc don't really matter wether you choose Prime or Haulers because it dosent effect anything. So you can choose yourself.

The parts such as stated above are chosen for simplicty because I don't like too many brands mixed up together.
This maybe the best DTM engine set up.

Please note the reason why there is no Vee-8 supercharger driver pulley is because I can't put it on the DTM cranksaft. Image code if you are reading this, please fix that.

Parts:(As listed according to the catalog.-may require putting certian parts in order *like the cam/bearing bridges*)
1.) Lama Performance DTM engine block ($1721)
2.) Lama Performance DTM crankshaft ($481)
3.) Lama Performance DTM connecting rods ($532)
4.) Lama Performance DTM pistons ($506)
5.) Prime DLH right cylinder head cover ($153)
6.) Prime DLH right cylinder head ($769)
7.) Prime DLH left cylinder head cover ($153)
8.) Prime DLH left cylinder head ($769)
9.) Hauler's SuperDuty right intake camshaft ($153)
11.) Hauler's SuperDuty right exhaust camshaft ($153)
12.) Hauler's SuperDuty left intake camshaft ($153)
13.) Hauler's SuperDuty left exhaust camshaft ($153)
14.) Hauler's SuperDuty Extra 750 intake manifold ($461)
15.) Prime DLH right exhaust header ($346)
16.) Prime DLH left exhaust header ($346)
17.) Prime DLH carburetors ($1084)
18.) Don'f forget about nos (price may vary accordingly to mods) -of your choice-
19.) Dragster GT Tuning Supercharger ($8466)
20.) SL Tuners 8 channel ported N20 system ($3388)
21.) MC GTLE semi-automatic transmission(for best acceleration because of awd)(I personally use this one) or Lama Performance DTM adjustable 6-speed manual transmission(for top speed -requires tuning the transmission-) ($844)
22.) Prime DLH clutch ($719)
23.) Prime DLH flywheel ($307)
24.) Prime DLH alternator ($130)
25.) Prime DLH camshaft drive belt ($46)
26.) Prime DLH alternator drivebelt ($30)
27.) Prime DLH oil pan ($230)
28.) Prime DLH left camshaft bearing bridge ($307)
29.) Prime DLH right camshaft bearing bridge ($307)
30.) Prime DLH crankshaft bearing bridge ($307)

Tune the following:
1.) Hauler's SuperDuty right intake camshaft: -15 degrees
2.) Hauler's SuperDuty right exhaust camshaft: 8 degrees
3.) Hauler's SuperDuty left intake camshaft: -15 degrees
4.) Hauler's SuperDuty left exhaust camshaft: 8 degrees
5.) Prime DLH carburetors: 11.00:1 A/F
6.) Lama Performance DTM engine block: idle @1150 rpm & Redline @10000(or 9000)RPM

This will roughly cost you about: $24000 (varying depending on transmission and misc parts)

Remember to never add the air filters, you will loose horsepower.
Possible the best DTM engine setup, but I don't 100% gaurentee it.

Also if the specs are not right because of my mistake of missing a part, comment about it and I will find the problem with my typing. If it is all correct, comment that it is correct.

Enjoy!

I'm not sure but it wouldnt be bad to limit the rpm a bit lower. For me it takes a while to wear out.
