Kris Aquino posts photo with "Crazy Rich Asians" star

20 Jun - She may have been advised not to talk about her "major Hollywood project" to the media, but Kris Aquino, the Queen of Instagram that she is has been dropping hints that she is indeed involved in the adaptation of Kevin Kwan's "Crazy Rich Asians".

The actress, who recently shared that she is flying to Singapore for her movie project - the same country where the aforementioned film is currently shooting, also posted a photo of herself on Instagram with Hollywood actress Constance Wu, who is already a confirmed cast member of the movie.

Calling it a "fangirl" moment, Aquino wrote, "We've seen every episode of the [three] seasons of ["Fresh Off the Boat"] and so happy they've been renewed for Season 4! Thank You [Constance Wu] (Jessica Huang, the Mom of Eddie, Emery, and Evan, and Louis' wife) for being so gracious. I know how exhausted she was but she still made the effort to pleasantly converse [with] me."

Wu also responded to the post in the comments, saying, "So great to meet you! See ya tomorrow."

Aquino also seemed to confirm rumours that she is playing the role of an Asian princess by sharing a photo of a tiara with the caption, "Within each of us is a Princess..."

She wrote, "Good morning. Wear your crown with grace and dignity."
