Greek Krater Ceramic Vase

A part of a captivating new line blending ancient Greek pottery with contemporary design, the ‘Greek Krater’ vase showcases delicate blue underglaze illustrations that harmonize traditional and modern aesthetics.

Crafted by INI CERAMIQUE designer Inhee Ma, the blue underglazes are meticulously applied by hand before the initial firing, infusing the vase with a touch reminiscent of antiquity. After a second firing at 1250°C, a transparent glaze is added to the interior for a refined finish, ensuring lasting durability. As each piece is artisanal, decorative patterns and shapes may vary subtly, highlighting the authenticity that defines INI CERAMIQUE craftsmanship.

INI CERAMIQUE is a handmade ceramics studio based in Bourgogne, France, founded by designer, Inhee Ma. Through the development of collections built around a minimalist wabi sabi aesthetic, her creations generate a dialogue between craftsmanship, art and nature.

All INI CERAMIQUE pieces are handcrafted by the designer, in her workshop. In chamotte stoneware, they are then fired at high temperature and present a contrast between a shiny transparent glazed interior and a raw exterior emphasizing the natural texture of the clay.
