There were three Gentry-Campbell singles that made the Hot 100- 2 of them made the Top 40. Bobbie Gentry of course is best remembered for her 1967 classic “Ode To Billie Joe” which went to #1- and in the late 60’s-70’s- Glen Campbell was all over the charts and on television with his own variety show. “All I Have To Do Is Dream” no stranger to the charts- of course the go-to version and best known version is the Everly Brothers #1 hit from 1958- also Richard Chamberlain took it to #14 in 1963, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band #66 in 1975 and Andy Gibb #51 in 1981 in a duet with Victoria Principal who would later break his heart.
