Eric Tsang saddened by the loss of two friends

30 Mar - Hong Kong actor-producer Eric Tsang questioned his own mortality after the death of his two friends, actor and action choreographer Fung Hark On and comedy man David Lo.

As reported on Mingpao News, the actor, who attended the funeral of David Lo recently, couldn't hold back his tears as he lamented, "For some reason, a lot of my friends passed away in March. Two of them are my good friends, one from the wuxia genre, and the other from television and the comedy world."

"I used to be the best man or the groomsman, but now I am in the funeral committee and a pallbearer. As I grow older, I hope that my friends around me will stay healthy," he said.

Eric added that although many believe that going to a lot of funerals is itself a taboo, he would not let such a thing prevent him from bidding his farewell to his friends.

He was previously at Fung Hark On's funeral, who also passed away of cancer in early March.

Speaking of the late Fung Hark On, the actor stated that he learned that Fung wanted to remake his classic movie, "Great Chums", before his death.

"I would consider it. Let's see if we could make it into an action movie. I also hope to work with a group of stuntmen in his honour," he said.
