Ruth Bancroft Garden Tumblr

Acanthocalycium spiniflorum

This genus of cacti is close to the large genus Lobivia, but differs in having sharp spines on the outside of the floral tube. Acanthocalycium spiniflorum is widespread in west-central Argentina.
