Ugh. That could have been a cute pic but it looks airbrushed to death. Especially Kellie.

I don't know why they'd have to airbrush it... all of those girls, especially Kellie Pickler, are quite beautiful without it.

I didn't care for that video at all.

I was underwhelmed by the video; I thought there'd be more story, or sass, or something, but it was kind of boring. They seemed to rely more on the cameos than the concept (which was such a cool concept, I thought). And everybody seemed kind of stiff, and not in a tension-between-groups kind of way, but stiffly acted. Surprisingly, LBB was my favorite part, and I'm not much of a fan of hers.
With all the hype I was expecting so much more; maybe something like bits of the girls daily lives interspersed throughout the video to show how diametrically opposed they are. Like GreaserMiranda officiating a street race while DebutanteMiranda is cheerleading. Something more than what they showed at the dance. I don't know; I'm a bit disappointed.

Are the people dressed in black kellie, miranda, laura and hilarie as ell Yes. I'm with BurnItUp (with Kerosene). I was expecting them to do more with the video. I think I expected passive-aggressive stunts and several rounds of one-upmanship from the two sets of ladies. I also thought I was supposed to be rooting for the "mouth like a sailor" group, but I ended up not having a rooting interest either way. We don't ever see the "bad girls" co-opting the turf/behavior of the Stepford good girls, which is what I thought was the point of the song.

Yep. Underwhelming.
LBB reminds me of Katy Perry in that black wig.

Well, unfortunately, I can't see it. Since this is a Vevo video on Youtube, it won't play outside of the US for copyright reasons.

Don't worry, you aren't missing anything. I was also hoping for something funny that really got the jist of the song, but it's just a sad, boring video.

It would have been cute to have had a little choreographed dance number with all the girls in there, too.
Kellie wins best actress in the video.

Miranda delivers yet again with her music videos. She's definitely someone who I always look forward to what she'll do w/ her next video; they've all been so good -- especially "Famous in a Small Town" (prob. my fave video ever) and "White Liar"
Kellie Pickler had the best parts... I loved the smoking scene where she's waving it away and coughing. I feel like the only think I would've changed is that it seemed weird to have Hillary Scott there, since her good girl persona still had dark hair, and that was what they were trying to balance it against: putting darks wigs on the blonde girls. Its not too big of a deal for me though; still a great video!

^Julianne Hough, would have been the perfect fit instead of Hillary.

^Julianne Hough, would have been the perfect fit instead of Hillary. There you have it. At the time of writing that post I couldn't think of another blonde that could fill the role, save for Carrie Underwood who just wouldn't have fit in as well. But yes, Julianne Hough would've definitely been a wise choice in place of Hillary Scott.

Yep. Underwhelming. LBB reminds me of Katy Perry in that black wig. LBB looks exactly like Katy Perry with that wig. It's actually a bit eery. I'm not sure how I feel about the video. One thing I like about music videos is that they tend to add a new dimension to the song that one perhaps hadn't thought of before, but this one really brought nothing new to the table. I wouldn't say it was terrible, but it was underwhelming.

It was a cute video, but not her best.
The song should do well on the charts, Miranda is at the top of her game after HTBM

I think underwhelming is a perfect word for it. It had a promising premise... but they just didn't do anything with it. Could have been so much better.

This video was also underwhelming to me. It wasn't bad, but I think it leaves a lot to be desired. I expected them to go into more details and better scenes with the groups of girls...it didn't seem interesting enough.

I know she's a superstar now, but I could easily see this song falling way short of #1. Not even making the top 10, in fact. I don't suppose that will happen, because country radio takes the safe path at all times, but in a parallel universe this song wouldn't be assured of big success, and could easily fail. It just doesn't sound good on my car radio -- it sounds like the station is too far away to pull in clearly. I could see this flopping outside the top 10 too, there's something really grating about the quality of her voice on this song that isn't present on the other singles from this era (all of which I enjoyed) that could turn a lot of people off besides me. Plus the message of the song isn't all that relateable.

While I wasn't crazy about White Liar either, I think this is definitely the worst single of Miranda's from this era yet. I hate the production on it, and the lyrics annoy me and, like lyrichord also said, are not relateable. How many more singles from this record will there likely be? I'm hoping Airstream Song gets released eventually.

Video was okay, I liked Kellie Pickler in it. But I really can't stand the song and I always change the station on the radio. Like it's been stated many times - way too much going on in the production and I think there are much better songs on the album. "Heart Like Mine" is definitely my favorite and I hope she gives it a chance.

"Heart Like Mine" is definitely my favorite and I hope she gives it a chance. I hope she releases that as the fifth single, too That, or "Virginia Bluebell," because by the time this peaks it'll be time for a winter single and I think thats a pretty good choice.

Miranda actually lost a bit of audience on Billboard this week?

I wanted to comment on something dudley had pointed out earlier:
I don't understand why they put that filter on Miranda's voice, either. I remember reading once that, back in 1989 when Shania was cutting rock demos, to get a reverberation they would have her stand in a shower and sing. I get the same feeling here, like Miranda is standing, as dudley said, at the back of a giant theater and is yelling.
To make matters worse, they've layered her voice behind some of the instruments. In fact, I daresay, most of the instruments. It makes for a very hard listen some times. In order to hear Miranda, you have to crank the track up, at which point the guitars just get louder. Maybe that was the point.
But I concur that the instruments really have feeling, have attitude. They are almost as sarcastic in nature as the lyrics of the song. I really have no qualms about the song, I think it's really good, but I am yet to wrap my head around the production. I just don't get it. And I get further lost when I hear Miranda sing it live, when her voice sounds crisp, clear, and strong. Why would you want to bury that behind layers of production and noise?

Miranda actually lost a bit of audience on Billboard this week? I noticed this too. This has actually slowed down immensely recently. Anyone know why?

This wasn't moving fast to begin with but a lot of songs have had to slow down due to the plethora of top 20 debuts over the past few weeks. When you have four straight songs (Chesney, Sugarland, Flatts, Swift) immediately take a top 20 song's worth of spins from the rest, the impact will be noticeable.

Ugh, I'm still hoping this can get a top 5 peak. But it's understandable that it's slowing down given the influx of new releases.

This had a pretty high debut and has been moving along fine; I don't have any worries that this song won't wind up being a hit just because a lot of highly-anticipated singles have been surpassing it in the past few weeks. Its to be expected.
