David Bowie’s “Heroes” Explored in New BBC Special: Listen

This weekend, BBC World Service celebrated the 40th anniversary of David Bowie’s album “Heroes” with a new documentary hosted by Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine. The 53-minute special includes archival interviews with David Bowie as well as insights from Iggy Pop, Brian Eno, and producer Tony Visconti. Listen to the full thing here. “Heroes” was recently reissued as part of A New Career in a New Town, a new box set collecting Bowie’s releases between 1977 and 1982.
