Jennifer Lopez is in love, and she can't get enough!

On Friday, the actress-singer, 54, dropped her ninth studio album, This Is Me ... Now, a follow-up to her 2003 LP This Is Me ... Then. As genre-crossing as it is confessional, the record finds Lopez wearing her heart proudly on her sleeve as she recounts how her broken engagement from Ben Affleck, 51, affected her — and how they rekindled their romance.

The A-list pair first began dating in 2002 and got engaged that same year before before postponing their wedding in 2003 and splitting in January 2004. Lopez and Affleck finally found their way back together in April 2021 and got married in July 2022.

The album — which Lopez adapted into an Amazon Prime Video original musical film featuring the music, This Is Me ... Now: A Love Story, also streaming now — offers a look at Lopez's journey to self-love and provides ponderings on self-discovery. It also lays bare Lopez and Affleck's private world, offering fans a look at how they made it work the second time around.

Below, a breakdown of some of the most revelatory lyrics about the power couple's love story.

"This Is Me ... Now"

The opening track finds J.Lo in a headspace of self healing and opening herself back up to love. "'Cause it’s meant to be with you, boy, it will last / You met me halfway," she sings. "Now we know what it takes for our ever after / Took some lefts, now we’re right here where we are … Had to heal my heart, but I love who I am lately." Later, Lopez declares, "Baby, got a love that'll last forever," because, "We put in work, overcame all the disasters / Time apart brought us right here where we are … Take me as I am, and I’ll take you as you are / And we’ll build this life together / I found my shooting star."

"To Be Yours"

"Met this superstar, and then he changed my life / Don’t you remember you told me you loved me?" Lopez sings on track two, seemingly looking back on her first whirlwind relationship with Affleck. But since reconciling, they've put in the work to build a sold bond: "So promise me that we ain’t gonna waste more time / Some days we can lose sight / Then we bring it back and we be kissin’ all night, yeah / Some days we can still fight / But that don’t really matter 'cause we in it for life … Took a minute, took a break / But it’s our time now … I be loving you until the end of time"

"Mad in Love"

"Mad in Love" finds Lopez with butterflies, grateful for a second chance at love with Affleck as she shares details of their rekindled romance. "You are my heart, you’re my everything / Read me that letter, then you gave me that ring / Two decades later, and it still hit the same / Won’t lose you, won’t lose you, won’t lose you / Not this time 'cause this is how it feels / If heaven is a place," she sings. "With you it’s paradise, and it was worth the wait / And baby, this is fate"

"Can't Get Enough"

Lopez sounds energized in love on lead single "Can't Get Enough," which is a total banger and harkens back to her "Jenny from the Block" days: "When it feels right, nothing else matters / Is this real life too good to be true? / Take me all night, I can feel the passion in your eyes / I’m still in love with you."

"not.going.anywhere."

After nearly two decades, "it's perfect timin'" when Lopez and Affleck reconnected, which she chronicles on "not.going.anywhere." "You say hey, little one, it’s been a little minute / You’ve been on my mind, please tell me how you been / Wanna feel lovin’, won’t you let me in / I won’t ever leave again," she sings. "After you I was just a hopeless romantic / And broken and damaged … Now I’m not going anywhere / Eternally yours."

"Rebound"

After Lopez and Affleck first broke up, they both moved on with different partners, and she acknowledges she had some rebounds and that she went "round and round" and fell "in and out." "I can’t force a love when I’m only thinkin’ of him / You know what I want / You know where I been / I only ran into you … runnin’ from the pain," Lopez sings of struggling to find true love after Affleck, adding: "If the love ain’t real, I can’t really stick around."

"Dear Ben pt. II"

A follow-up to This Is Me ... Then's "Dear Ben," "pt. II" finds Lopez older, wiser but more in love than ever, with effusive lyrics like: "You showin’ me what it is / You showin’ me what I need / I was missin’ a part / You was the missin’ piece / And we see eye to eye / And we don’t gotta speak / Even miles apart / We never outta reach / Seasons change, but love remains."

"Hummingbird"

Lopez celebrates her and Affleck's true partnership — and how they build each other up — on this sweet love song. "Could you help me be / The best version of me / And all I wanna do / Is help you be the best version of you," she sings. "I wanna be the wings to help you fly."

"Hearts and Flowers"

"Gonna make it through the rain / Through the trauma and the pain / For the love and not the fame," Lopez sings, looking back on how she survived heartbreaks and hardships over the years. "It ain’t all hearts and flowers."

"Broken Like Me"

"I loved you so much, and that messed me up / Gave what I could, but it wasn’t enough / You drifted away, left me so numb / Tears on my gown, look what you’ve done," Lopez sings on this ballad, reflecting on her and Affleck's broken engagement and its effect on her. "And I tried to be honest, but it made me feel weak / And when I think about it, it brings me to my knees / I thought my life was over, I thought hell could be real / Was I all on my own, or did you ever feel / Broken like me."

"This Time Around"

On "This Time Around," Lopez embraces her and Affleck's second shot at love as she opens up about their whirlwind reconciliation — matching tattoos, jet-setting lifestyle and all! "All my cards laid out / I’m going all in right now / No playin’ around / Time to do what we talkin’ about," she sings. "All that bulls--- just don’t faze us / All the hate couldn’t break us / 'Cause when you know better, you do better / We get to have a do-over, forever ... This time around gon’ be a little different."

"Midnight Trip to Vegas"

Before Lopez and Affleck wed in their romantic ceremony in Georgia, they eloped in Las Vegas — which she looks back on the album's penultimate track. "Then you whispered in my ear / Said let’s get out of here / We can disappear tonight / What about a midnight trip to Vegas / Just me and you, baby / Throw the kids in the back of the pink Cadillac," she sings, detailing how they made a private family moment to share. "Both our hearts are racin’ / I’ll pick you up late, we don’t have to wait / Let’s do somethin’ crazy."

"The Greatest Love Story Never Told"

Album closer "The Greatest Love Story Never Told" is a sexy, sensual ode to finally finding her happily ever after with Affleck. "Different roads, two lost souls / Never thought we’d find our way back / Could’ve lost what mattered most / how could I live with that," she sings. "Twenty years ago, feels like time is froze / We livin’ in the greatest love story ever told / We never let it go / And never told a soul / We could’ve been the greatest love story never told ... It’s destiny how we found each other twice in one lifetime / I tried life without ya, been thinkin’ about ya / You don’t know how long / And we got so much time left, this time we won’t let go."
