Left:
Micropuntia
(or Opuntia) pulchella flowering in cultivation. This is definitely the best view of
this plant, there are just a few scruffy twigs below.
Below:
Two habitat plants. The left one shares ground with Sclerocactus nyensis and the
right one with Sclerocactus pubispinus. I imagine that they are
grazed (by rabbits?) and these inconspicuous plants they would look much
more obvious in flower.
