A Widebody AMG GT S? Yes, Please!

From the get go, I’ve never really been a fan of the styling on the new AMG GT S. It looks a bit off, as if the nose is entirely too long for the rest of the car. Even in person, which everyone says makes it look better, the car still feels like the proportions are off. Something is just missing for me, and I was never sure of what, until now.

This is the AMG GT S built by Prior Design. It’s a widebody kit that finally makes the AMG GT S look properly sorted. Between the subtle flared wheel arches, and the carbon fiber front splitter that looks absolutely wicked, this is the AMG GT S I would finally own, so long as Mercedes fixed the super soft steering.

This kit, dubbed the PD800GT Widebody Aerodynamic, is perhaps one of the best widebody kits around. It also includes that little duckbill spoiler that sets the car off perfectly. Additionally, Prior Design added a set of PD3FORGED Superlight custom wheels that come in sizes 18”-23”. Prior hasn’t released the price of the new kit, but since this is a fairly exotic automobile, figure for the cost to be quite high.

Now that you know what I think, what do you all think of this kit?
