When my previous radio station started to turn to static, the seek button landed my on 97.9 WCPR for a little while as I drove from Gulfport towards New Orleans. Leaning a bit more towards harder rock than I prefer, there were still a few classics thrown in.
AC/DC's Thunderstruck is always a good one. Pearl Jam's Daughter. Soundgarden's Black Hole Sun. There was even some Queen before the rock went to stuff that was more screaming than harmonies.
That's okay. It worked for a while and then there were others along the Gulf Coast.

I always loved this station but I can not listen to that morning show hoping to hear one song on the way to work. Their comments on women are horrible. Also, I know everyone has an opinion on the vaccine but the way they share what has proven to be bad information is ridiculous. Please get a new morning show that I can once again enjoy my favorite station. One that is not trying to shove their political opinion down my throat. Music is the only safe space right now. Let's get back to the music.
