Born in Budapest, Hungary in 1917, Lillian Slutzker was a survivor. After fleeing Nazi control for England, she met her husband at a USO dance and later returned to his hometown of Rome, New York.

She dedicated her life to bettering her community. The foundation’s purpose is to carry on her incredible legacy and fulfill her passion for Judaism, education, the arts, and enriching the community.

DEAR FRIENDS,

Welcome to Clue! We’re glad you’re here. Live theatre serves many purposes. Our art form illuminates the many paths of life’s journey. The second half of our season illustrates this idea in its rich variety: from the world premiere of Tender Rain to the classic Our Town and the bilingual Espejos: Clean, we’ve travelled far and wide over the past few months. There are times, too, when we do what we do just for the fun of it. That’s why we’re all here today. Inspiration for a script takes many forms but Clue is the only play I know that draws its inspiration from a popular board game (and subsequent movie). I’ve enjoyed watching our creative team, first in Indianapolis and now here in Syracuse, pay homage to this bit of iconic popular culture while mining all the laughs and mystery you hope for in a play called Clue. I think you’ll agree that this cast really kills it.

Clue marks the conclusion of our 2022-23 season. Allow me this op portunity to thank you for joining us. I want to offer a particular and heartfelt thanks to those of you who are season subscribers. THE ART OF PLAY

CLUE IS TRULY A MULTIgenerational phenomenon. Many have fond memories of playing the game as a child, while others were introduced to Boddy Manor and its oddball cast of suspects through the iconic film. No matter how you first came to investigate the whodunit, it has become a part of our culture.

Our obsession with the genre continues as we are currently awaiting a remake of this quirky mystery with a starstudded cast. A recent flood of films has appeared that also celebrate the genre: The Menu, Knives Out, and Glass Onion are just a few delightful spins. Arthur Conan Doyle would be thrilled to know that Holmes and Watson’s skills continue to inspire.

We love the drama of the mystery: the intrigue, the backstabbing, the subtle clues that require a keen eye. They challenge our deductive reasoning skills—and sometimes biases—to get to the truth. They reward those who can piece together the puzzle first. Who doesn’t love to be the first to exclaim, “It was Mrs. Peacock, in the Study, with the Revolver!”

nificent cast to contribute their own comedic genius. Designers Czerton Lim, Izumi Inaba, Jared Gooding, and Todd Mack have worked joyfully with our exceptional production teams to craft a world full of surprise.

It is an honor and a thrill to partner with the wonderful team at Syracuse Stage to bring Clue to life. As we gather in the dark to laugh together, we celebrate the many artists that make live theatre a powerful, transformational art form.

THE PIANIST WITH A PENCIL AT THE DINING TABLE

DURING THE 1920s AND 30s, British musician Anthony Pratt frequently played piano for country house weekends, where the wealthy wined, dined, danced, and played party games. This was the Golden Age of Detective Fiction: Agatha Christie, G. K. Chesterton, Dorothy L. Sayers, and all the rest. In later years Pratt described one of the most popular country house activities as “a stupid game called Murder, where guests crept up on each other in corridors and the victim would shriek and fall on the floor.” What better setting than, as Clue playwright Sandy Rustin describes, “a mansion of epic proportions and terrifying secrets.”

During World War II, Pratt worked in a Birmingham munitions factory. At night, while holed up at home for long air

raid blackouts, he developed a murder board game as a cure for boredom. His wife Elva designed the board on their dining room table. Pratt was an avid reader of murder mysteries. “He was fascinated by the criminal mind,” says his daughter, Marcie Davies. “When I was little he was forever pointing out sites of famous murders to me.”

In 1944 Pratt patented his game as Murder! In 1947 he sold it to Waddington’s, a British game manufacturer. But because of post-war shortages, the game was not released until 1949—as Cluedo in England (a play on ludo, the Latin word for play) and Clue in the United States Parker Brothers version. Pratt’s original game featured ten characters and ten weapons, including a bomb, a shillelagh, and a syringe. The published version simplified

the options to six each. In the original boxed set, the rope was an actual piece of string, and the lead pipe was a small tube of (poisonous) lead.

Over the years, characters have been updated. In 2008, Colonel Mustard became Jack Mustard the soccer star, and Professor Plum became Victor Plum, billionaire video game designer. The mansion got a spa and a home theatre. In 2016, Mrs. White was bumped off and replaced with Dr. Orchid, an adopted daughter of Mr. Boddy. Dr. Orchid is a scientist with a Ph.D. and a

sinister background: she was expelled from her Swiss boarding school after a near-fatal poison daffodil incident.

Paramount’s 1985 film featured an allstar cast and three different endings. Boxed game-board spin-offs have included Star Wars Clue, Alfred Hitchcock Clue, The Simpsons Clue, and Golden Girls Clue. Today the game is thought to have sold more than 150 million units worldwide. Sadly, Anthony Pratt’s descendants have not shared that wealth. In 1953 he sold the foreign rights to Waddington for a mere 5000 pounds.

Ryan is the executive artistic director of the Indianapolis Shakespeare Company, where he has directed Hamlet and As You Like It and acted in eight shows. Regional credits include the Shakespeare Theatre Company in DC, the Studio Theatre, Shakespeare Santa Cruz, the Goodman Theatre, Berkeley Rep, the Lookingglass, and Great Lakes. ity, Elephant & Piggie’s “We Are in a Play!,” and The Little Choo Choo That Thinks She Can. She is grateful to be part of the thriving arts community in Indianapolis as both an actor and a teaching artist. Credits include productions with the Phoenix Theatre Indianapolis, Actors Theatre of Indiana, Beef & Boards, and the Indianapolis Shakespeare Company, where she is a company member. Devan was recently seen in Heroes of the Fourth Turning with American Lives Theatre, and also in Silent Sky, the premiere production of Summit Performance Indianapolis, Indiana’s first and only womanfocused theatre company. John Taylor Phillips ( Wadsworth ) made his Indiana Repertory Theatre debut with Clue. A native Texan, John has performed in venues all over the country, including New York, Chicago, Milwaukee, Dallas, and Washington, DC. An elevenyear veteran of American Players Theatre in Wisconsin, he particularly

enjoys performing the classics, and could not be more excited to share this new classic with this amazing audience. “It happened like this….”

Eric Sharp (Mr. Green) is a Minneapolis-based actor. Regional credits include Vietgone, As You Like It , M. Kerrington Shorter (Unexpected Cop, Backup Cop, u/s Colonel Mustard, u/s Professor Plum, u/s Mr. Green) is an Indianapolis-based actor, writer, and musician who is proud to be making his Syracuse Stage debut in Clue. As a recent graduate from Marian University with a Bachelor of Arts in theatre, Kerrington has not only been seen on educational, community, and professional stages across Indi-

anapolis, but also in commercials and local films across the Midwest region. He has most recently been seen on stage in Civic Theatre’s Rent, Marian University’s Pippin, Summit Performance’s Skeleton Crew, Indy Shakespeare Company’s Ricky 3–A Hip-Hop Shakespeare Richard III, Phoenix Theatre’s 172, and his original one-man hip-hop musical, The Loop.

Claire Wilcher (Mrs. Peacock) has appeared with Indiana Repertory Theatre in The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse , as well as worked as a swing for Noises Off! and A Christmas Carol. As a member of Indianapolis Shakespeare Company, she has showed up as Bottom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Phebe in As You Like It, and she is slated to direct the company’s production of Love’s Labor’s Lost this summer. Claire is also a professional intimacy director, having worked with more than 25 productions choreographing staged intimacy and advocating for actors’ safety and consent in moments of intimacy. Henry Woronicz (Colonel Mustard). As a regional theatre actor and director of more than forty years, Henry has over a dozen seasons with the Indiana Repertory Theatre, where he has appeared in Twelve Angry Men, The Originalist, Red, An Iliad, King

Lear, and many more; at IRT he has directed The Three Musketeers and Romeo and Juliet. Regional credits include Syracuse Stage, Actors Theatre of Louisville, American Conservatory Theatre, American Players Theatre, Arden Theatre Company, the Shakespeare Theatre, and the Alabama, Illinois, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Utah Shakespeare festivals. Television credits include Seinfeld, Cheers, Third Rock from the Sun, Star Trek, and Law & Order. At the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, he was artistic director from 1991 to 1995. Henry was a visiting professor in the Department of Theatre at IU Bloomington from 2014 to 2017.

She recently directed her noir play Lost Angela/ Night Terrors for Play Zoomers. She is a graduate of Otterbein College, and an alumnus of the Semester at Sea.

Ben Asaykwee (Male Swing) is a playwright, poet, performer, and composer based in the Indianapolis area and appears regularly on stages across the Midwest. Recently he appeared in Clue at Beef-n-Boards Dinner Theatre, and the one person shows ProZack the Sad Elf the Musical (The Phoenix Theatre and Cultural Center), and Every Brilliant Thing (Stage Door Productions at the District Theatre Indy). Other performance highlights include Cabaret Poe (Q Artistry), ZirkusGrimm (Q Artistry), and Kiss of the Spider Woman (Theatre Building Chicago). In 2016, Ben received a grant and was one of ten artists given an “Indy Theatre VIP” award from the Indianapolis Foundation. Jonathan Lynn ( Screenplay ) has directed 10 feature films including the cult classic Clue (he also wrote the screenplay), Nuns on the Run (also written by Mr Lynn), My Cousin Vinny, The Distinguished Gentleman , Sgt. Bilko , Greedy , Trial And Erro r, The Whole Nine Yards , The Fighting Temptations and most recently, Wild Target. His first produced screenplay was The Internecine Project (1974). For television, Jonathan’s writing credits include dozens of episodes of various comedy series but he is best known for the phenomenally successful, multi-awardwinning BBC series Yes Minister and Yes, Prime Minister, co- written and created with Antony Jay. Jonathan authored the bestselling books The Complete Yes, Minister and The Complete Yes, Prime Minister, which cumulatively sold more than a million copies in hardback and have been translated into numerous languages and are still in print nearly 30 years later. His novel Mayday (1991) is being re-published by Endeavour Press and his latest books Comedy Rules (Faber and Faber) and Samaritans (Endeavour) both received rave reviews. About Samaritans, the Sunday Times said: “This is a book George Orwell would have approved of.” Jonathan made his first professional appearance on Broadway in the revue Cambridge Circus, and his television debut on The Ed Sullivan Show, live with 70 million viewers, both at the age of 21. Jonathan’s West End theatre debut, aged 23, was as an actor in the role of Motel the Tailor in the original London cast of Fiddler on the

Roof. His subsequent London directing credits include: The Glass Menagerie; Songbook (Best Musical, Olivier Award and Evening Standard Award); Anna Christie (RSC, Stratford and the Donmar); Joe Orton’s Loot; Pass The Butler by Eric Idle, Shaw’s Arms And The Man and The Gingerbread Man (Old Vic). At the National Theatre, he directed A Little Hotel on the Side by Georges Feydeau and Three Men on A Horse (Olivier Award, Best Comedy). As artistic director of the Cambridge Theatre Company, he directed 20 productions, producing 20 others, nine of which transferred to the West End. His numerous awards include the BAFTA Writers Award, Writers Guild (twice), Broadcasting Press Guild (twice), NAACP Image Award, Environmental Media Award, Ace Award–Best Comedy Series on US cable, and a special award from the Campaign For Freedom of Information. Lynn received an M.A. in Law from Cambridge University and now lives in New York, describing himself as a recovering lawyer.

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos. Sandy’s play, Struck (“A Charming Comedy!” – The NY Times) enjoyed two recent, critically acclaimed productions at NJ REP and Theatre Raleigh. Her play, Houston, is the recipient of the New American Musical Award and after a recent workshop in NYC is currently in development for production. Sandy’s newest comedy, Elijah, was recently presented as part of Midtown Direct Rep’s 2017 “Theatre in the Parlor” Reading Series and is in development. She created, developed, wrote and starred in her own show for Nickelodeon (Nick Mom) called Overbooked. And her webseries, It’s Complicated, was acquired by Stage17.tv. Sandy has two screenplays and two television pilots in development. As an actress, Sandy guest starred on Comedy Central’s, Inside Amy Schumer and regularly appears at New York’s The Upright Citizen’s Brigade in “Gravid Water” (named “Best Improv Show” by Time Out NY). She has worked with Loopers Unlimited for over 15 years as a voiceover actress, appearing in hundreds of TV shows and films. Eric Price (Additional Material) has written the lyrics and book to the musicals The Violet Hour, Radioactive, Presto Change-o, Around the World, Hello Out There, The Sixth Borough, and additional material for the stage adaptation of the film Clue. His work has been produced at theatres in New York, around the country, and in Europe. Production experience includes work at such institutions as Manhattan Theatre Club, Roundabout Theatre, Goodman Theatre, The Kennedy Center, Menier Chocolate Factory, Barrington Stage, Symphony Space, Merkin Recital Hall, Minetta Lane Theatre, Audible.com , Joe’s Pub, 54 Below (including solo show), Birdland, the Ravinia Festival, and more. Eric’s adaptation of Jane Austen’s Emma was commissioned in 2015 and has had over 150 productions around the world. In addition to his career as a writer, Eric was the longtime assistant to 21-time Tony Award-winning director/producer Hal Prince and worked with him over the course of twelve years on the development of new musicals that premiered in New York, Chicago, Washington DC, London, and Tokyo. He is a member of the Lincoln Center Directors Lab and has degrees in directing from Indiana University and musical theatre

writing from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. He has been a Dramatists Guild Fellow, a Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center finalist, and a member of Goodspeed’s Johnny Mercer Writers Colony and the Rhinebeck Writers’ Retreat. He is an adjunct professor of musical theatre at Pace University and Molloy College/CAP21. With his collaborator, Will Reynolds, Eric won the 2018 Fred Ebb Award for Musical Theatre Writing.

Michael Holland (Original Music) is a multi-talented artist with work across the entire musical spectrum. His orchestration and vocal arrangement work can be heard on the 2011 Godspell revival cast recording (co-producer). As a composer and lyricist he has written Horizon Line (Theatre Latté Da, Minneapolis), Hurricane (NYMF), and Believe in Me… a Bigfoot Musical (fringeNYC). He has writen incidental music for various theatre companies including Playwrights Horizons, The Alley Theatre, The Old Globe, Dallas Theater Center, Colorado Shakespeare Festival, Juilliard, and NYU Tisch. As a performer/arranger/music director he created the multi-award winning alt-cabaret favorite Gashole! (2001-2013). His orchestrations include Emma! A Pop Musical (Stageworks), Disco Party and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever (Playscripts). Recordings include four solo CDs of original music, as well as the world premiere of “Another Day in the Modern World” on The Maury Yeston Songbook (ps classics).

Czerton Lim (he/him) (Scenic Designer) is excited to be returning for another murder mystery after having designed last year’s production of The Play That Goes Wrong. Previous productions for Syracuse Stage include Matilda the Musical, along with Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Elf the Musical (SALT Award for Best Set Design of a Musical 2019) and designing the streaming production of Talley’s Folly. Most recently, he collaborated with The Hangar Theatre Company for their outdoor production of School Girls and Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812. Todd Mack (Sound Designer) is happy to return to Syracuse Stage where his previous design credits include Private Lives, The Grapes of Wrath, Death of a Salesman, The Fantasticks, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, and 12 Angry Men. Todd is in his 21st season as resident sound designer at Indiana Repertory Theatre and his 11th season with Indianapolis Shakespeare Company as sound designer/composer. His work has also been heard at Geva Theatre Center, San Diego Rep, St. Louis Black Rep, Actors Theatre of Louisville, and Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival, among others. Todd stays involved in a variety of music projects around town. After more than 25 years in professional audio he can both create and describe the ruckus.

Rebecca A Scott (Wig Designer) is a wig and makeup designer based out of Chicago and has designed for such theatres as Chicago Opera Theatre, Court Theatre, Writers Theatre, Indiana Repertory Theatre, and Next Act Theatre on such shows as the world premiere of The Life and Death(s) of Alan Turing, Once, Arsenic and Old Lace, Artemisia, Clue, and God’s Spies. Stuart Plymesser (Production Stage Manager) is in his 26th season at Syracuse Stage where he has stage managed over 100 plays, musicals, and special events, working with such talents as Jason Alexander, Olympia Dukakis, Frank Langella, Elizabeth Franz, and Phylicia Rashad. Stuart has worked at numerous regional theatres around the country and in Cape Town, South Africa, and has toured nationally. Locally, he has also stage managed events for Syracuse Fashion Week. In addition, Stuart is adjunct faculty for Syracuse University ’ s Department of Drama and has been a guest speaker/lecturer for Ithaca College, Wells College, SUNY Oswego, SUNY Fredonia, and the Zabalaza Festival in Cape Town. Outside of theatre, Stuart holds the rank of Nidan (second degree black belt) in Aikido and the title of Fukoshidoin

Claire Simon CSA (Casting). Based in Chicago, Claire Simon CSA has worked with the Indiana Repertory Theatre for the past 23 years on casting more than 40 productions, including Sense & Sensibility, Murder on the Orient Express, Twelve Angry Men, You Can’t Take It With You, Holmes and Watson, Noises Off, Appoggiatura, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, and many more. Benjamin Hanna is a director, educator, and community engagement specialist whose passion for multigenerational theatre has influenced his work across the country. In all of his myriad roles, Ben is guided by the belief that access to high-quality

theatre helps build creative, empathetic people and healthy communities. Ben is in his sixth season as the Indiana Repertory Theatre’s associate artistic director. In July 2023, he will become the Theatre’s new Margot Lacy Eccles Artistic Director. In his role as Associate Artistic Director, Ben manages casting both

locally and nationally, helps guide education and community programming, and connects IRT to new artists and ideas. Dedicated to eradicating systems of oppression, he is an advocate for creating and maintaining an anti-racist culture that breaks down historical barriers of access to the theatre. Ben is the recipient of a Theatre Communications Group Leadership University Award funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. The award supported his artistic mentorship at the Children’s Theatre Company in Minneapolis, the nation’s largest theatre for young

audiences. Prior to his role at CTC, Ben spent five years in California’s Bay Area, dividing his time between Berkeley Repertory Theatre and the Bay Area Children’s Theatre. In his native Minnesota, Ben was honored to serve on the education staff of Penumbra Theatre Company, the nation’s leading African American theatre. Ben holds a degree in theatre arts from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. He grew up on a small rural farm and fell in love with theatre at the age of eleven. He continues to create for his favorite audience: his five nieces and nephews.

Robert Hupp is in his seventh season as artistic director of Syracuse Stage. He recently directed Our Town, The Play That Goes Wrong, Eureka Day, Annapurna, Talley’s Folly, Amadeus, Noises Off, Next to Normal, and The Three Musketeers for Stage. Prior to coming to central New York, Robert spent seventeen seasons as the producing artistic director of Arkansas Repertory Theatre in Little Rock. He directed over 30 productions for Arkansas Rep ranging from Hamlet to Les Miserables to The Grapes of Wrath. In New York City, Robert directed the American premieres of Glyn Maxwell’s The Lifeblood and Wolfpit for the Phoenix Theatre Ensemble. He also served for nine seasons as the artistic director of the Obie Awardwinning Jean Cocteau Repertory. At the Cocteau, Robert’s directing cred-

its include works by Buchner, Wilder, Cocteau, Shaw, Wedekind and the premieres of the Bentley/Milhaud version of Brecht’s Mother Courage and Her Children, Seamus Heaney’s The Cure at Troy, and Eduardo de Filippo’s Napoli Millionaria. He has held faculty positions at Pennsylvania’s Dickinson College and, in Arkansas, at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and Hendrix College. Robert served as vice president of the Board of Directors of the Theatre Communications Group and has served on funding panels for the New York State Council on the Arts, National Endowment for the Arts, the Theatre Communications Group, the New Jersey State Council of the Arts, and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs. MANAGING DIRECTOR

Jill A. Anderson has served as managing director of Syracuse Stage since 2016. Jill is responsible for Stage’s $8 million operating budget and has oversight of fundraising, marketing, and operational matters within the organization. Prior to joining Stage, Jill spent a decade as general manager at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center in Waterford, CT. During her tenure, the O’Neill completed a $7 million capital campaign and campus expansion, doubled its operating budget, and was honored with the National Medal of Arts and a Regional Theatre Tony Award. Under the O’Neill’s aegis, Jill also developed the Baltic Playwrights Conference, an annual international new play

development retreat held in Hiiumaa, Estonia. Previously, Jill spent five years in the production office at Washington, D.C.’s Arena Stage, after working as a stage manager in Minnesota, New Mexico, and Massachusetts. In addition to her work at Stage, Jill is an instructor in the theater management program of the Syracuse University Department of Drama, building on her work with high school and college students elsewhere, including at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival. Jill has been recognized as part of the Central NY Business Journal’s “40 Under Forty” and serves on numerous municipal and non-profit boards. Jill is delighted to call Central New York home, but will always be a proud cheesehead, originally hailing from Marshfield, Wisconsin.

Kyle Bass is the author of Possessing Harriet , which premiered at Syracuse Stage, was subsequently produced at Franklin Stage Company, at the East Lynne Theater Company, and is published by Standing Stone Books. Salt City Blues was produced at Syracuse Stage in the 21/22 season, and Citizen James, or The Young Man Without a Country, about a young James Baldwin, was commissioned by Syracuse Stage and has streamed nationally since 2021 and has been optioned for an international feature-length film. Kyle’s new play Toliver & Wakeman was commissioned by Franklin Stage Company where it premieres later this year. His libretto for Libba Cotten: Here This Day, an opera based on the life of American folk music legend Libba Cotten, was commissioned by The Society for New Music. With National Medal of Arts recipient Ping Chong, Kyle is the co-author of Cry for Peace: Voices from the Congo, which premiered at Syracuse Stage and was subsequently produced at La MaMa Experimental Theatre in New York. His other full-length plays include Baldwin vs. Buckley: The Faith of Our Fathers, which has been presented at Cornell University, Colgate University, the University of Delaware, and Syracuse University, and Separated, a documentary theatre piece about student military veterans at Syracuse University, which was presented at Syracuse Stage and the Paley Center in New York, and Leeboe & Sons. He has also been commissioned by The-

atre Nohgaku and is the co-author of the original screenplay for the film Day of Days (Broad Green Pictures, 2017). Kyle is a three-time recipient of the New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship (fiction in 1998, playwriting in 2010, screenwriting in 2022), a finalist for the Princess Grace Playwriting Award, and a Pushcart Prize nominee. As dramaturg, he has collaborated with acclaimed visual artist and MacArthur “Genius” Fellow Carrie Mae Weems and was the script consultant on Thoughts of a Colored Man, which premiered at Syracuse Stage in 2019 and opened on Broadway in 2021 and he has appeared with Symphoria, the symphony orchestra of Central New York. His plays, screenplays, and other writings have appeared in the journals Callaloo and Stone Canoe, among others, and in the anthology Alchemy of the Word: Writers Talk about Writing. Kyle is an assistant professor in the Department of Theater at Colgate University, where he was previously the 2019 Burke Endowed Chair for Regional Studies. Previously, he was faculty in the M.F.A. creative writing program at Goddard College, taught in the Departments of Drama and African American Studies at Syracuse University, and the Theatre Department at Hobart & William Smith Colleges. Kyle was the Susan P. Stroman Visiting Playwright at the University of Delaware and the Flournoy Visiting Playwright at Washington & Lee University. Stage has collaborated with a myriad of institutions in the Syracuse area. Community partners include 100 Black Men of Syracuse, AccessCNY, ARC of Onondaga, ARISE, ArtRage, CNY Reads, Interfaith Works of Central New York, La Casita, McMahon/ Ryan Child Advocacy Center, Onondaga Historical Association, Rosamond Gifford Zoo at Burnet Park, SUNY Upstate Medical University, the VA Medical Center, and Vera House. Additionally, the educational department collaborates with many CNY schools.

ABOUT SYRACUSE STAGE

Originally constructed as the Regent Movie House in 1914, the physical space of Syracuse Stage has seen many films, musicians, actors, and artists pass through its doors over the course of the past century. The Syracuse Stage that exists today is a non-for-profit professional theatre company founded in 1974, and a longstanding League of Resident Theatres (LORT) member. Since its inception, Stage has produced over 300 shows, both plays and musicals, within its walls. Now, Stage produces six to seven shows per season, while also offering educational programs to students, various pre- and post-show events, and fundraising events each year. Stage is Central New York’s only LORT theatre and one of the largest performing arts organizations in the area. Stage has a strong commitment to giving the community access to a range of high-quality productions; it is equally committed to bringing in actors, designers, and directors who are among the leading theatre professionals, both locally and across the nation.
