Realme 12 and Realme 12 Plus launched in India: Check price, specs and bank offers

It runs on Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14 out of the box with Realme promising two years of Android updates and three years of security patches. Realme 12 comes with 128GB storage and offers up to 8GB RAM.

Similar to the Pro variants, Realme 12 has a circular camera island on the back that houses a 108MP primary camera alongside a 2MP portrait sensor. An 8MP sensor powers the selfie camera.

The side-mounted power button also houses the fingerprint scanner that also acts as a ‘Dynamic Button’. Realme says you can assign it various functionalities like changing the sound mode, enabling DND, opening the camera and more.

Realme 12 Plus specifications

The Realme 12 Plus has a slightly smaller 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of 2,000 nits and comes with ‘Rainwater Smart Touch’, a feature that allows users to use their phones with wet fingers.

Featuring the Dimensity 7050 chipset, the phone comes with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. Similar to the vanilla Realme 12, the device runs on Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14 and is promised two years of Android updates and three years of security updates. The phone has an in-display fingerprint scanner and comes with a 3.5mm audio jack, which is rare to find these days.

It has a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro camera with the front punch hole display housing a 16MP selfie shooter. All of this is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging.

Realme 12 and Realme 12 Plus price and offers

The base variant of the Realme 12 that comes with 128GB storage and 6GB RAM costs Rs 16,999 whereas the 8GB RAM version is priced at Rs 17,999. If you are interested in the Realme 12 Plus, the 128GB and 256GB versions can be purchased for Rs 20,999 and Rs 21,999 respectively.

Realme is also offering a Rs 2,000 bank discount for ICICI, HDFC and SBI card holders. The Realme 12 and Realme 12 Plus will go on sale today 3 PM onwards and will be available on Flipkart and Realme website.
