Description
Rhizome is 6–7 mm in diameter and is classified as stout. The pseudobulbs are narrowly ovoid, 3–6cm apart from each other, with a termical lead and 1.1–1.5 cm in diam and 3–6cm in length. Leaf blade is with an obtuse apex, oblong in shape, leathery and 27–30 × 2.8–4 cm. The petiole is 5–6 cm in size. Scapes are one or two from the base of the pseudobulbs, 14–18 cm and erect. The peduncle has three or four sheaths, 12–15 mm, floral bracts ~6mm, lanceolate and the tip is acuminate. The ovary and pedicel are ~11mm. The yellowish green flowers have red spots. The dorsal sepal is concave, ovate, margin is slightly erose or irregularly toothed and the apex is obtuse. The lateral sepals are lanceolate, with five veins, abaxially the base is finely papillate, it is twisted near the base, their lower and upper edges form a horn-shaped synsepal by connating with each other. Petals are triangular-ovate with the base being ~1/3rd width adnate to column foot, ~3x3mm, the tip has bristle-like processes and margins are fimbriate. The lip is lanceolate-subovate, fleshy, with an acuminate apex, grooved at the base and ~3 x 0.7mm in size. The column is ~2mm, with slightly enlarged wings and stout. The foot is free and 2mm apart and is ~3mm in size. The anther cap is finely papillate. Flowering: August.
