Bob Dylan’s Hurricane – live and uncensored.

This is a blog for some Scottish friends!

Bob Dylan’s “Hurricane” is a great song, but the published version is a pale imitation of this one. The story goes that the personal references in this version could have landed Bob with a big law-suit.

If you know the version that appeared on Desire, then listen and compare. If you don’t, then just listen to this. Angry and loud – with Scarlet looking like she could see to a cop. It is a wonder of You-tube!

For reference, this is the published (cut) version

And this is the original recorded version – a lament and not a patch on the live one – IMO.

And this is the version from the Rolling Thunder Tour (great)
