How to fertilize Pilosocereus glaucescens
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Pilosocereus glaucescens after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Can someone tell me what this spot is on my cactus? I did repot last week and hope I didn't cause damage. It was perfectly fine before 😢 #GregFeedback #BlueColumnarCactus #GreggersSupportingGreggers #help

Damage in a cactus column #BlueColumnarCactus there seems to be some damage in my cactus. Any idea what this is? Should I be worried?

Do cacti develop stress colors like other succulents? So, on this #WhatTheSuccWednesday it just happens to be a watering day for my #BlueColumnarCactus, Tom. I bottom water most of my plants, so when it was his turn, I picked him up from the little table he lives on, brought him to the kitchen counter, under the bright light over the sink, and saw this 🧐 I’ve never seen nor heard of cacti getting a pattern like this before. At first, I thought it was just a pattern being cast by the shadows of his little prickles, but it isn’t 🤨 I’m certain it wasn’t there when I got it, or even when I last watered him. He does spend 10-12 hours a day under a grow light. So, I have to know—is this normal? Good? Bad? What’s going on? 🌵👀 #CactusClique #Cactus #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulents #GregGang #Greggers #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #HappyPlants #PlantAddict #PlantTherapy #babevila
